One of Mr. Ward’s advertising tools is a one-seat 2000 Corbin Sparrow electric car that gets about 40 miles per charge. It takes about an hour's charge for every 10 miles driven. It costs about $18.75 in gas to drive 40 miles round-trip to work and back in his SUV, compared with 37 cents to recharge the electric car to make the same trip. It is number 096 of the 360 units produced. Pollution free transportation is on the horizon.
